Something New

This morning I am going to start a new chapter in my adult life - school! Warren and I decided it would be good if I took some classes at the school of ministry (Cornerstone) that our church has. I'm so looking forward to it.
I will be going Tuesdays and Wednesdays this term so i guess that makes me a 1/2 time student. I asked the boys what I needed to take for my first day of school (I remember so clearly when I was preparing them for their first days!) and they gave me some pointers with which Brett ended his by saying "mom, don't embarrass me with my friends". So I guess there is one more thing for me to watch out for...keep my mouth closed and my mind open!

I must say, I'm fearful of my learning abilities but at the same time very excited to give it a try. So...I'm off.......

Jake, Grandma is going to Bible School. What do you think she needs to bring?
Jake's list:
"a pen...
paper...
and...if it is Bible school...I guess she needs a Bible.
And she won't BRING a desk. There are probably desks there. But she might want to check. Or just in case...she could bring a desk."

We prayed for you this morning. My prayer is that this time devoted to study will be rewarded with a peace from God with what he has called you to do. Whatever and wherever that is.

Thank you, thank you for the prayers! And tell Jake, No desk!just tables and chairs! I'm loving it thus far.

Good for you! I could not be happier with the life God has given me. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children I never thought I would be worthy of. I wouldn't give them up for anything. I would love to finish my degree someday. I think you will enjoy the challenge of learning in the school setting. It is more fun to do as an adult then as a child. Enjoy and I am sure you will do great.

I am really confused for I did not make the comment above. I echo everything in it, except for the "two children" part. I am in love with all four of my children. :)
